appeared several years ago, before Basically, is a huge store of texts, including many parallel texts in Irish and English, that are searched for matches to a word or term. The store also includes electronic dictionaries.

When a search term, or word, is introduced, goes off and searches the database for matches, and presents what it finds as a series of text strings in which, usually, the answer that the user wants appears. However, the user usually needs some skill in recognising the result, as it is necessary to pick it out from within a text string. Therefore, it is not a standard dictionary. It does, though, have the benefit of showing words in context.
